Hello,
I did an update today to the latest version of Stardraw 7.
One result is that it will not detect and save changes in symbol editor.
I have an already defined product.
I create a user defined product from the first one.
I right click on the new product and select edit symbols.
I edit the block symbols by selecting Unlock and delete and move individual connections and texts. The SAVE icon is still gray, the system have not detected a change. If You press the X Exit button from the symbol editor all changes are discarded, you will not get the save question. If Youy do something else, move the complete symbol one step, add a new line or text, the system detects the changes and will ask if to save when You exit. But not if you only are in Unlock mode and do smaller changes.
With best regards Mats

Hi Mats,
We can't reproduce this. In Edit Symbol mode, any change is tracked and Saving is enabled as soon as any change is made.
As a side note; in Edit Symbol mode you do not need to use the Unlock cursor. Objects are not part of a hierarchy - they are individual items - unless, perhaps, you have pasted in something external, which might explain why we can't reproduce the effect.
It would be helpful if we could see the problem as it manifests itself, using Problem Steps Recorder (part of Windows 7).
1. Run PSR.exe (you canjust hit the Windows button and search for PSR.exe)
2. Click on Start Record
3. Run Stardraw Design7 and work with it until you experience the problem.
4. Click on Stop Record
5. Save as a .zip file
If you can email us the .zip file along with the .S07 project file you were working on we should be able to reproduce the exact steps you take. Many thanks.

Update for those following this thread: information supplied has allowed us to reproduce and identify the issue which means that edits performed using the Unlock cursor may not register as changes, meaning that the Save button does not become automatically active. We are working on a fix and will post back to this thread as soon as it is published.
A simple workaround is to perform any sort of edit with the Selection cursor or any drawing tool which will activate the Save command.
