Different applications are different, after all. There is still an assumption that I'd like to question. For the purposes of generating the system schematic and cable schedule, why do different parts of the system have to be in different drawings?
+x Rob Robinson - 8/9/2017 2:59:53 PMHi John,I am not saying that there should never be different drawings; at it's heart SD7.2 was designed to cater for multiple drawings in a project. The OP's stated objective is to produce a Cable Schedule with a single row that shows the Cables start and end connection. We are exploring the best and easiest way to do this. The easiest, in all probability, is to generate a drawing which contains the start and end connections of the cables, solely for the purposes of the Cable Schedule. Other drawings could be used as adjuncts/detail for parts of the system, of course, but right now it's all about this Cable Schedule question.
